2026-2027 Leadership Urbandale Application

The Urbandale Chamber of Commerce is currently accepting applications for the 2026-2027. Mission: Leadership Urbandale develops diverse individuals for leadership roles in the community. Selected participants take part in nine (9) sessions including a full day of learning at the Central Iowa Business Conference in May of 2027. The program concludes with a graduation ceremony and celebration in June 2027. Leadership Urbandale provides an in-depth look at the City of Urbandale, local businesses, and the leadership skills needed to make a meaningful impact in our community. Program Requirements: - Applicant must either reside in Urbandale, work at a company within the city of Urbandale OR be a member of the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce. - Applicant must be available from 8:00 am-5:00pm on selected dates September 24, October 15, November 19, December 17, January 21, February 18, March 25, April 15, May Central Iowa Business Conference (Date TBD), June (Date TBD) Graduation, meals provided. - One excused absence is allowed. - Applicant must provide one (1) letter of recommendation, maximum of 3. - Applicant must submit written approval from employer if applicable. - Applicant is subject to a background check for the protection of participants, presenters, session hosts and sponsors. Program Cost (A ticket to Central Iowa Business Conference 2027 included, a value of $325): - Member of Urbandale Chamber of Commerce: $1,800. - Non-Member of the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce: $2,200. *Application closes June 30th, 2026. The Leadership Urbandale Committee will announce the 20 approved participants by July 17th, 2026.
