For more than 50 years, the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce has served as the voice for businesses in and around Urbandale. We are committed to helping our members thrive and accomplish their greatest goals. As Urbandale’s largest coalition of businesses, we serve more than 780 members and 24,000 representatives
Each year, we put on more than 150 events for members to connect and do business. These events range from educational seminars to networking breakfasts, to young professional development and more. Vision Park Family Eye Care
Michele has been actively involved with the Urbandale Chamber since 2013, she served as the Connector Chair in 2016, and began serving on the Chamber Board in 2017. She is still active with the Connectors, the Total Resource Campaign and other events and activities.
Michele is employed at Vision Park Family Eye Care as the office manager, which means she wears many hats, however her favorite hat is networking for the 4 Optometrists she works with to help grow the practice. Michele and her husband Mike live on an acreage in Mingo.
Shade Tree Auto
Clint founded Shade Tree Auto in 2001 and grew the company with strong support from the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce. Focusing on repair and maintenance for import and domestic vehicles, Shade Tree has been named one of the top 100 small businesses in the country by the US Chamber of Commerce, received the Bronze Company of the Year at the International Business Awards, and was named the 2018 Company of the Year for small retail at the American Business Awards in New York. Clint is also a graduate of the Community Leadership Program through the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute, and was named a Forty Under 40 in 2016.
Clint and his wife Mindy currently live in West Des Moines with their two children, Molly and Henry.

R Jones Collison 1
Christy Jones, Owner of R Jones Collision 1 has been helping customers through the collision claim process since 2001. Christy is a second generation owner, who bought the business from her Father and Uncle in 2015. As someone who has grown up, worked in, and purchased a family owned business, Christy brings a wealth of knowledge to her employees and customers each day. She serves as an ambassador for her customers. She takes a hands on approach by educating them about the collision repair process. Christy can sum up her dedication to collision repair with this service statement: Our customers feel safe and secure trusting their vehicle to the care of our knowledgeable employees who produce quality repairs. We write it right, fix it right and bill it right.

Director, Sales and Consulting
Pat Pithan is currently Director of Sales and Consulting at MMIT Business Solutions Group (formerly M & M Sales and Imaging Technologies). He has been with MMIT since 1986. Prior to his current position he spent many years as a Major Account Manager and Territory Business Manager. Pat is especially proud of the fact that his staff currently serves the needs of over 1,500 businesses in the central Iowa area. He provides them with their office equipment and IT technology needs.
Pat resides in Urbandale with his wife, Katie, and their two daughters, Jaime and Jennifer. Katie is currently a substitute teacher in the Johnston School District.. His daughters are currently attending college at the University of Northern Iowa and the Drake University Law School.
Communication & Security Consultant
Andy Richardson has been a member of the Urbandale Chamber since 2012. During the time Andy has been with the Urbandale Chamber he has been a Connector, served on the Gen YP Board leading the Professional Development Committee and began serving on the Urbandale Chamber board in 2017. Andy is employed with Electronic Engineering where he consults with his clients to develop two-way radio communication, video security, access control, GPS telematics and other wireless solutions. Outside of work Andy serves on the City of Urbandale Parks and Recreation commission and enjoys golfing and bowling. Andy and his wife Nicole live in Urbandale with their two daughters.

Jason grew up in LeMars, IA and attended the University of Iowa, receiving a degree in Communications, and Iowa State University, where he received a degree in meteorology. He has worked at WHO-TV, KCCI-TV, and KCWI-TV forecasting and covering Iowa’s ever-changing weather. Jason joined Compass Financial Services as a Sales Assistant in Oct. of 2016. He lives in Urbandale with his wife Kelly and sons Nolen, Maddox, and Hudson and their trusty dog, Radar.
Todd is the Founder and President of ATW Training Solutions and President of New Horizons Computer Learning Center, both Urbandale businesses. The mission of ATW and New Horizons is to unleash the human potential in organizations to propel business success. Todd is also a board member of the Waukee Betterment Foundation, a board member of the Iowa Association of Business and Industry, and serves on the Advisory Council of the Ken Blanchard Companies.

Hi, I am a Independent Certified Health Coach. My professional career spans wide with 30 years in Corporate America, providing a wide range of experience in the financial, customer service, collections and technology industries.
Today, as I coach lifestyle and transformation, I am passion driven on the success of others creating hope with their health, mindfulness and overall wellbeing. Empowering others with their health is a true blessing in life, to them with the choices they get to make with their life, as well as, making memories with family. Sharing this gift of life is what I do, guiding, supporting and walking the dream of a healthy tomorrow, one day at a time.

IWLC (Iowa Women Lead Change)
Director of Marketing & Strategic Development
Amy Eaton is the Director of Marketing & Strategic Development at Iowa Women Lead Change (IWLC). In this role, she is responsible for building a structure to create increased awareness of the IWLC brand, including developing and implementing marketing initiatives, projects and programs to grow the organization.
Amy graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. in Journalism & Mass Communications. She was the Client Experience Director at Allegra Marketing for nine years and previously worked for the Des Moines Arts Festival and Downtown Events Group, Stanford University and Iowa State University. Amy is past chair of genYP and Young Variety.
Since 2004, Tiffany Menke, has been the President of the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce. She has served on the boards of and is a Past President/Past Chair of ICCE, CITR, and IMA. She currently represents Iowa on the MACE Board of Directors and serves on the Diversity and Inclusion Council through the Greater Des Moines Partnership as well as participates in a pilot program through the Evelyn K Davis center to mentor ex-offenders.
In 2017, Tiffany was honored as a Woman of Influence through the Des Moines Business Record. Other honors include 40 under 40, and an Ovation award from the Iowa Women’s Foundation and Des Moines’ Most Likeable People in 2018. She grew up in Newton and went on to Grand View University in Des Moines where she earned a degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, and a minor in Photography.

Event and Marketing Coordinator
Abigail graduated from Wartburg College in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a Marketing and Accounting minor. She was the President of the Wartburg College V-Day Campaign and an intern for both the Wartburg Community Symphony and Waterloo-Cedar Falls Symphony. She was also actively involved with the Wartburg College music department as a musician and as a music tours coordinator. After college, she lived and worked in Japan, where she taught English at Tokyo Global Gateway, whose mission is to expose Japanese students to English conversation. Most recently, she was a Project Coordinator at IP Pathways. She enjoys spending time with family, kickboxing, and traveling.

Denise Day is an experienced project coordinator, events manager, and coach. Driven by servant leadership, she takes pride in her ability to build long-lasting relationships. She is the Vice President of the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce. Day works to serve members and assists with larger events. Former Director of the Indianola Chamber of Commerce, Day comes with a strong background in team building, project management, and event planning. Denise and her husband Michael are parents to a son, Jacob Day of Colorado and daughter Abbie and her husband Dylan Cozad of Indianola. When she is not working, Denise enjoys pursuing personal development, traveling, painting Mandala stones, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

Nancy comes to us with over a decade of consultative sales experience, most recently with the West Des Moines Chamber. Developing strong relationships is the foundation of everything she does, both professionally and personally. She has a passion for connecting, inspiring, and helping others identify strategic opportunities. Outside of work, she spends time biking, writing, and attending her high school daughters’ drama, jazz and show choir performances (pre COVID-19).
